POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is directly accountable to the Vice President-Finance for organizing, developing, and maintaining a meaningful accounting system for the division: for establishing the monthly financial forecast and analysis, and annual financial plan; for managing and directing all functions of general accounting, cost accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll; and responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all financial analysis and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively drives management team to all financial commitments, and provide analysis and recommendations for countermeasures to financial variances.
  • Ensures profitable growth by recommending, establishing, and preparing annual and long range profit plans in accordance with division, group and corporate guidelines.
  • Ensures accuracy and compliance with established corporate policies and GAAP, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements.
  • Meets all reporting requirements and deadlines through review and audit of all monthly, annual and special financial reports.
  • Keeps Controls Leadership informed of the division performance by maintaining regular contact with the Vice President-Finance.
  • Ensures proper levels of staffing and provide for the continuing development of department personnel ensuring an adequate talent pool to meet present and future needs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • CMA or CPA certification.
  • M.B.A. strongly preferred.
  • Minimum seven years experience of demonstrated finance leadership.
  • Experience at a large, mutli-division publicly held company preferred.
  • Prior experience using Excel and Hyperion, and Oracle is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a full-time engineering position working with Software Quality Assurance Group testing our core software products, including libraries, utilities, GUI Tools and ActiveX controls. This position will involve you in all areas of the software process, including design, development and automated and manual testing. We are looking for someone with great troubleshooting skills and experience in all areas of software testing, such as white box, black box, integration and system testing. This is an entry-level engineering position with the opportunity to launch into development, applications, or product management as a future career path.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibility of this position is to expand our existing test suite and broaden test coverage of our software products by developing and executing test code. Work with our development team to create feature tests in C/C++. Responsible for validating design requirements and specifications for new software features. In addition, you will design and execute manual test cases for specific SW features, write test plans, test reports and design & set up test beds in our test lab.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Our ideal candidate will have a BS/BA Computer Science, be proficient in C/C++, Visual Basic and Python programming. Must have a strong knowledge of formal software developmental process and be able to read and comprehend software requirements and design documents. Familiarity with Software Testing principles and testing categories such as white box, black box, integration and system testing. A background in electronics and experience using lab equipment is helpful. .Experience with Linux, VxWorks is a plus. Excellent written/verbal communication and troubleshooting skills are required.
